concept
This workshop involved participants drawing pictures based on the theme of "windows" and sharing their individual interpretations. In addition to in-person participation, remote participation via email was also possible, allowing for a wide range of perspectives, including from those who were unable to attend in person. The artwork was digitized and displayed on the walls of a virtual gallery (211 participants).
This workshop uses "windows" as a starting point to depict the landscapes and memories within each individual. This time, participation was accepted not only at the venue but also via email, allowing for the collection of diverse perspectives regardless of location or circumstances.
The collected images are displayed in a virtual gallery, loosely connecting as a single space. The scenery seen by one person overlaps with the scenery seen by another, and a breadth that was not visible individually emerges. By moving back and forth between drawing and seeing, between reality and virtuality, we attempted to open up new ways of perception.
