Illuminating Graphics 2
2019.2.22-3.28
Creation Gallery G8

This exhibition was conceived as an attempt to redefine graphic expression through the mediation of light. By employing LEDs, projections, and translucent and reflective materials, it examined how visual information is perceived within spatial environments.
In this context, Harada presented a practice that originates from a virtual world constructed within the computer, translating its imagery into material painting. The work demonstrated an intersection between virtual environments and physical exhibition space, offering a perceptual experience that oscillates between the flatness of digital imagery and the spatial presence of painting.
