KAAT Atrium Video Project vol.31 | Iku Harada

2024.12.27-2025.3.27

The video work NESTED WORLD was presented in the atrium of KAAT Kanagawa Arts Theatre. Based on a nested structure in which virtual and real spaces overlap, the work incorporates the building’s circulation and the cityscape of Yokohama seen through its windows. The video does not remain confined to the screen but emerges as an experience tied to the site itself. As virtual and real influence one another, the viewer’s sense of where they stand and what they are seeing quietly becomes uncertain.

KAAT Atrium Video Project

The KAAT Atrium Video Project, which has been running since 2015, screens a variety of video works by cutting-edge contemporary artists.

This project allows visitors to experience art through a giant video image displayed at the entrance.

・Always on show when the museum is open (updated approximately every 3 months)

・Open every day during the exhibition (except for the New Year holidays) 10:00-18:00

・On night performances, the screening will continue until the end of the show.
